America's most fun town
730 Skiable Acres
Sunlight Mountain Resort is a unique winter playground that is affordable and family oriented. Sunlight has hundreds of acres for skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing and snow-shoeing. Sunlight’s summit on Compass Mountain in the White River National Forest, overlooks majestic Mount Sopris and the awe inspiring Elk Mountain Range. Amenities include a restaurant, lounge, rental and retail shop, ski school, children’s center, terrain park, nordic skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobile tours.
After the snow has melted, Sunlight and surrounding mountains offers great hiking and exploring opportunities. The mountain is also a great place to cool down while escaping the valley heat. When the aspen trees and foliage start to turn colors in early Fall, be sure to drive up 4 Mile Road to take in the beautiful autumn colors.
